
Jan Styve
Jan Styve, a Wright County resident, is an oil-painting artist. After retiring from her floral design career, she joined a group of artists to study and learn their skills. Under the tutelage of a nationally known artist, she acquired techniques for the use of color, composition, and brushwork that have enhanced her artistic flair.

From December 1, 2025 to January 30, 2026, the library will showcase the paintings of the highly recognized artist Jan Steve, a Wright County resident.
The library’s art exhibit can be viewed during open hours;
Monday 12-6 p.m., Wednesday 3-6 p.m., Friday 12-6 p.m., and Saturday 10-1p.m., unless closed for holidays.

Jan loves to learn. She particularly enjoys filling a blank canvas with image and color. In addition to traditional paintings, she creates works of “interrupted realism”. We welcome Jan Styve and hope that you’ll enjoy viewing her art.
