Adopt a Media
Honor Someone Special with a Meaningful Gift
Share your favorite author, interest, or movie by adopting a piece of library media in honor or memory of someone special. With your donation, a personalized bookplate will be placed inside the item, recognizing the honoree or donor.
Each time the item is checked out and enjoyed, your gift—and the person it honors—will be remembered again and again.
$25.00 minimum per bookplate
Please list the media when making your donation.
THE WISHING TREE
By donating items from the library’s Wishing Tree, you’re helping us save money that can be used to purchase more books for our collection! Simply stop by the library, choose an item from the tree, and donate the specified item. Our ongoing needs include postage stamps, computer paper, toilet paper, and heavy-duty packing tape. Donations can be dropped off at the library—thank you for your support!

Friends of the Library thank you!
Book Donations
The Maple Lake Library will accept:
Adult Books - that have a copyright within the last three years and must be in good condition.
Childrens Books - can be older than the 3 year copyright rule, but also need to be in good condition.
Paper Back Books - in good condition and will accept an entire series. When a series is donated it is ok that some of the books will be older than the three year copyright rule.
We only need one copy of each book so if we already have the book it will be placed in our bookstore located in the multi-purpose room.
Big Heart ❤️. Small Town. One Great Library!
A little library with a lot to offer!
Since 2009, the Maple Lake Library has been fully independent and run entirely by volunteers.
With no paid staff, we rely 100% on community support. Every dollar you give keeps our
doors open and our library thriving.
