I graduated from Maple Lake School in 1972.  I lived in Maple Lake for several years.  I worked for General Mills right after graduation and continued to work there for 20 years.  I left there when my husband Jon wanted to open his own business.  We moved to Motley and opened Motley Tire and Alignment with my sister Deb and her husband Butch.  We sold the business in 2005 due to health issues.  I worked many different places including, Infisherman, Staples Motley School, Stern Rubber and Renneberg Hardwoods.  I started writing in 2020 when I was caring for my teenage granddaughter who broke both arms in a car accident.  She has recovered.  I published my first book in 2024 and now have 4 published books.  My last book Murder In A Small Town takes place in Maple Lake.
