Colleen Voss

“Water into Art” is the label Colleen Voss has chosen to define her creative  process. Her painting technique captures the essence of her subjects - the lightness and energy – as seen in the various details of the landscape surrounding her rural Maple Lake home — the inspiration for her work.

Colleen has always had a strong urge to create art. In 2009, she expanded her passion by learning from local artists and self-teaching how to effectively use watercolor paints. As a result, she has developed a unique style called  “Loose, Atmospheric Nature Realism”, the goal of which is for the viewer to pause and share in the quiet observation of nature.
