Patricia Riley
Patricia began her artistic career as a watercolorist, however in 2006 she began to paint with oils. Her love of antiques and the beauty she finds in fruits and vegetables is the inspiration for much of her art, especially still-life paintings.

She has been rewarded for her self-taught skills with recognition for her work’s quality in competitions such as Salon International and Oil Painters of America. Equally impressive is that her art has been showcased in numerous Twin Cities area shows.
Currently, in addition to the Maple Lake Library, Patricia’s art is on view at both the James Krom Images Gallery in Rochester’s Hilton Hotel and the Abundant Kitchen in Buffalo.
From October 1 to November 30, the library will showcase the paintings of the highly recognized artist Patricia Riley, a Wright County resident.
The library’s art exhibit can be viewed during open hours;
Monday 12-6 p.m., Wednesday 3-6 p.m., Friday 12-6 p.m., and Saturday 10-1p.m., unless closed for holidays.
